Frequently Asked Questions: Why don't you offer Unlimited space or bandwidth like some of the other web hosts? Technically there is no such thing as unlimited space or bandwidth...there are always limits on resources available anywhere. Most of the places offering *unlimited* space or bandwidth really don't offer it at all. If you read the fine print in their Policy details you'll usually find clauses and exceptions that allow them to cut sites off at their own discretion. We've heard plenty of horror stories about these matters over the years. What it boils down to is that you may get a lot of space and BW at one of these places, but you never really know the limits until you exceed them. And so their offers are just another sales pitch to get you to sign up with them. We prefer to deal realistically and practically in all our products and services. Thus, we allot practical limits on both space and bandwidth, but are also able to offer these at affordable and competitive rates. I already registered a domain with another provider. Can I still host my site with you? Most likely. We suggest you contact us and discuss the particular situation with us to see what we can help you with. As long as you have access to the domain control panel, switching the pointers to our servers should be an easy task (we can help with this if need be), but if the domain has expired or you do not have access to the panel, things may get a bit more tricky and we cannot guarantee being able to host the site until we know particular details. We have dealt with this type of thing many times and have had to pull a few rabbits out of hats, but it's best to contact us and we can go over the details with you to figure the best approach. What size hosting plan will I need? It somewhat depends on your likely usage for the site. We are currently setting up most account at 500mb or larger, but do have smaller sized accounts for those that need a lower cost solution or just have conservative needs. If you will just have a simple site with only a few pages and limited images, you should easily be able to go with a smaller plan. But if you are looking at bigger ideas, then something larger may be a better fit. If you are not sure what size of plan you'll need, feel free to contact us and discuss your particular details with us and we can give a more accurate recommendation form there. Can I upgrade my hosting plan at a later date? Absolutely. This is a simple process of just making the request and we work out the details. This makes it easy to start with a smaller plan, and then only upgrade if/when you need to later on. Do you offer custom plans? Certainly. Though we've tried it to allot our plans across a common spread, we can always work out a custom plan, whether it's larger or smaller (in size or cost) than what we currently list on our site. We've kept pretty low key, as most of the sites we've hosted have been for our design clients, but as we've expanded over the years, we've continued to offer more and better hosting services along the way. Do you offer FrontPage Extensions on your hosting plans? By default we do not setup FP extensions on accounts, as it just adds extra files and folders that are often confusing and annoying to those who do not need them. We are able to install FP extensions on any account as needed. So, whether you need FP extensions added at setup, or later on, just let us know and we can take care of it for you. What payment methods do you accept? We can accept any payment through Paypal (including credit cards), checks or money orders made out in US funds from a US bank or the Post Office.
